Is it Time For You to Quit?
You know the old saying – “quitters never win and winners never quit”. I’m sure you’ve heard it a time or two in your life. But, I’m here to tell you that sometimes quitters are the biggest winners!
I recently came across an article on Entrepreneur.com, “9 Reason to Quit Your Job As Soon As You Can” and instantly thought of franchising. I’m sure you’re thinking it’s an odd jump, but follow me.
Most people enter into franchising once they have reached the point in their career or their life where they want more control over their future. They are looking to quit what they are currently doing and seeking something that not only makes them happier but gives them a greater sense of fulfillment. Having the cushion and the proven model of a franchise makes this jump much easier.
The franchise model is attractive because it allows you to be in business for yourself but not by yourself. You have the freedom of being your own boss without the headache of starting from scratch. With franchising you have a model that works and the support of a system that knows how to make it work, the guesswork has been removed. Thus, the risk is greatly eliminated making the jump less frightening.
So the next time someone tells you they quit, congratulate them – they just took a jump towards their own freedom!
